I hope you guys took action. For those who did.. Let’s analyze how much you saved.

I told you to renew Apr PQP 2024 here. If you had a CAT A car that has the COE ending in Apr 2024, COE ending in May 2024, COE ending in June 2024 or COE ending in Jul 2024.

You saved:
CAT A Car expiring May = $6,068
CAT A Car expiring Jun = $11,152
CAT A Car expiring Jul = $12,919

Not too shabby advice from a random internet character right?

Alright, enough gloating..

More importantly, what do we expect going forward towards the 2nd Half of the year?

Seasonally, this quarter is flat. I do expect continuation of the price action being sideways, and perhaps a continuing downtrend as we go towards next year.

In this regard, the PQP forecast for Sep 2024:
CAT A = $90,598
CAT B = $100,968

Now, I understand people always want actionable advice. So what should you do?

The answer… Wait and see. Since the prices are not trending hard for the meantime, it’s wiser to adopt a wait and see approach. There’s no benefit into renewing early in that sense.
